Mr. Eich is a lawyer and partner with the law firm BALEX AG in Basel. He has over 20 years of experience in international business law, especially mergers & acquisitions, restructuring and business consultancy. After graduation in 1999 from the University of Basel magna cum laude and the bar exam in 2002, he worked with KPMG as a director and Head Legal Basel, before joining his law firm in 2009. Among other board memberships, Mr. Eich is Chairman of an international Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation and thus also heavily involved in the Life Science Industry.
Mr. Cheng is an asset management executive, focusing on transformative opportunities across various sectors. With extensive experience in venture capital and private equity, Mr. Cheng as CEO of C Capital has played a pivotal role in high-profile investments, including CASETiFY, the fastest-growing global tech accessories brand; XiaoPeng (NYSE: XPEV), a leading Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer; Animoca Brands, a multinational blockchain technology; NOTHING, a UK based consumer electronics manufacturer; Lalamove, a prominent Chinese on-demand logistics firm. He is also a board member of various Nasdaq and HK-listed companies. Prior to C Capital, Mr. Cheng honed his expertise as an investment banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Standard Chartered Bank, where he was involved in landmark transactions such as the US$3.3 billion take-private of WuXi PharmaTech, Temasek’s US$5.7 billion investment in Watson’s and the US$2.1 billion acquisition of ING's insurance business in Hong Kong, Macau and Thailand.
Mr. Van Den Heuvel is a marketing and media professional with over 25 years of experience in international marketing, business operations and media. After graduation in 1989 from Radboud University of Nijmegen in The Netherlands, he worked at several positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, McCann Erickson and several other media and digital companies.
Ms. Gao has been Head of Legal and Compliance of C Capital since September 2021 overseeing all legal and compliance matters of C Capital. She is also a responsible officer (Type 1, 4 and 9) and senior legal counsel at C Capital Investment Management Limited, an asset management firm licensed and regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong. She is an attorney dually qualified in the State of New York, the United States and the People's Republic of China, with over 17 years of legal experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets practices. Prior to C Capital, Ms. Gao worked at Hong Kong office of Latham & Watkins from November 2017 to September 2021 during which period she was seconded to The Carlyle Group as Legal Counsel in Asia from September 2019 to March 2020. Prior to that, she worked at Hong Kong office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from December 2015 to October 2017 and Shanghai and Hong Kong offices of Minter Ellison Lawyers from September 2007 to August 2015. Ms. Gao holds a bachelor of laws degree from Fudan University Law School and a master of laws degree from the University of Chicago Law School.
Mr. Landini is a seasoned strategist with over 20 years in the engineering and start-up sectors, specializing in Asian markets. From 1996 to 2014 he pioneered the introduction of wholly foreign-owned enterprises in China, founding 3L Consulting Hong Kong Ltd and Shanghai Landini Mechanical Industry Co. Ltd. In 2014 Mr. Landini co-founded Garage Italia Customs in Milan, transforming everyday vehicles into bespoke, limited-edition products alongside major brands like Ferrari and BMW. Since 2020, he has been CEO of Fondazione LAPS, enhancing the lives of vulnerable societal groups. He is owner of LLandini, a consultancy supporting innovative start-ups, and CEO of Garage Italia Immobiliare & FB Garage Italia, which reimagines iconic spaces for car enthusiasts.
Ms. Yorozu specializes in office control and project management for international business development. She has served as the Managing Director for the Japanese subsidiary of a German e-commerce solution provider, supervising both the team and office operations for over 12 years. She also has a background in the advertising industry, totaling about 6 years, as an assistant producer. Her role involved creating TV commercials, coordinating product campaigns and organizing events for clients such as Sony APAC, Sony Music, Warner Music Japan, Adidas Japan, Nissan, various Japanese broadcasters, the Tourism office and Embassy etc. In 2006 she was a project member for the joint venture launch between a French software vendor and Softbank C&S in Japan.
